The FAME Outpatient Clinic is nearing completion and will see its first fully operational year in 2008! The FAME Mobile Medical Service continues to provide medical care to individuals living in very remote villages, people who are simply unable to access medical in a city or town clinic.
The FAME Outpatient Clinic represents Phase 1 of a much larger endeavor. Future projects include expansion of the Outpatient Clinic into a multidisciplinary health facility. This facility will include an Operating Theatre, Intensive Care Unit, inpatient capabilities, expanded diagnostic center, dental service, teaching/resource center. We are also planning to Construct volunteer housing for visiting doctors and nurses. Medical needs in Tanzania are extremely pressing. FAME is participating in a vital and worthwhile endeavor, and we welcome your support in helping us move this large-scale project forward.
